I'm the wife of an American Soldier;

I'm the hope that lives within him after storm clouded days.

The freedom from war that gives wings to his heart,

May they reach across the miles and bind our hearts together

How Do I Bring My Child, Son or Daughter to Live in the United States?

These are the basic steps required by a US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident of the USA. These steps should be followed as a guideline and not as specific requirements for any given case. Every case is unique and this does not address that uniqueness. Who is Eligible to Sponsor a Parent?

If you are a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years old, you are eligible to petition to bring your parents to live and work permanently in the United States.

If you are a lawful permanent resident, you are not eligible to petition to bring your parents to live and work permanently in the United States.

You or your USC husband (if eligible) can petition for the kids. Parents cannot be petitioned for until you are a USC

YMMV

he is not the biologiacal father of my kids, is he can petition them ?

Absolutely, A USC can petition for a stepchild if the stepparent/stepchild relationship was created before the child was 18.

I don't completely understand your concern as you don't have to disclose broken bones on the petition... However, I suppose if the injury is preventing him from working it might affect his ability to sponsor

Assume a broken leg takes 6 months to heal.

Assume a CR-2 visa takes 10 months from filing I-130 petition to interview day.

Do some math, I think you can see, if HE filed today, for your 2 kids, they'd be here AFTER his leg healed.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
