Armani,

I am really sorry to hear about this. Inshalla, all will work out for the two of you.

There is a pinned topic in the MENA forum for this.

Start on page 11 or 12...before that it is mostly about getting the topic pinned.

I hope this helps. There is a lot of information there.

Here is a post where Marc Ellis mentions using 212(a)(5)(A) as a ground for denying family based visas.

With a recently denied CR-1, there's no way in hell you'd be approved for a B-2.

You can 'try' but I wouldn't bother wasting $131.

hello, all today i checked uscis status its said that :-

Post Decision Activity

On August 16, 2010, a USCIS office received this case from the State Department with a request that we review it. We will notify you when we complete our review, or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so my question is that much time they need to take decision???

any1 please???

that part is really 'unknown'.

IF they decide to 're-affirm it' without any further input from you, that's a good thing.

IF they require 'more evidence' from the USC Spouse, they'll let the USC spouse know, via postal letter, with a 30-day window to 'turn around' and USC reply back.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
