While calling for interview for Kyiv there is a recorded message that states DS 156 will no longer be accepted and new form DS 160 will need to be filed in its place. Anyone here ever heard of this form?

You need to fill out DS156 and DS156K. If you read, I forgot which one, either the USCIS or Ukraine embassy website, it says"As of Feb 26, 2010 the DS160 is replacing the DS156 EXCEPT FOR K VISA APPLICANTS who still need to fill out the DS156 and DS156K.
