Congrats on your approval  . I've seen this before over the years...that a certain few get speedy processing...but this is getting rediculous, not to mention frustrating to other readers, 8 days is by far the fastest. I'm curious as to how this is possible. I remember a couple of years ago (2007), when California was impacted with heavy case loads from other centers, and pushed to process them ahead of other waiting clients, freeing them up to process quickly then too. Is this happening again?

I just got notification online, too. NOA1 approved June 10 and online says:

On June 30, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice.

20 days! I hope the rest of the process is as good. (smile) Not in the mailbox today. I expect it Tuesday. When this happened before, was there a delay at the NVC? A friend got his NOA2 June 17, 2 months 2 weeks and has her interview July 13. This is one of the most exciting days so far!

Congrats to you too!. No, there didn't seem to be any delays outside of California, everything went smoothly for the applicants that were approved from the other service centers; Vermont and various other states, but it just took California applicants 6-8 months to get through the whole process. Good luck in you furure lives together, and the next road as you continue on the visajourney.

Thank you. Marilyn saw it online early this morning and we have been estatic as you might imagine. We both thought it might be middle August..
