I need the Heppitutis (sp?) B vaccine to complete my approval for the K-1 (as posted in the Embassy area) but my GP will not supply it where can I go? I'm willing to pay but dunno where to turn to to obtain it as required if my own GP says he don't have it because it isn't cost effective. The lady at the medical center offered to give it me there but I didn't have the money on me and going back to London ISN'T an option.

Help. Manchester area anybody know?

:help:

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything

British Airways..... they have several "travel " clinics down south..give them a call and see if there's one near you. Any jabs you haven't had you'll get when you have your medical, can't remember the going rate. My doc wouldn't give me MMR so I had mine at the medical. Don't panic !! (F)

If I'm not mistaken, the Hep B shot is a series of 3...

"How many shots do I need to be protected against HBV and HAV infections?

The hepatitis B vaccine series consists of three doses spaced out over approximately 6 months.

The hepatitis A series consists of two doses given 6-18 months apart. If you started either series but didn't get all the doses, you should continue where you left off.

A combined hepatitis A and hepatitis B vaccine has been developed for adults who need protection against both HAV and HBV infections. This vaccine consists of three doses given over a 6-month period."

Are you sure it is HEP B ?

She's already gone to the Medical, that's why she's saying that going to London again is not an option.

AFQuaid, have you tried private doctors? or maybe a hospital? Isn't there any way where your GP can help? i.e. ordering one in for you or giving you the rpescription to get it in the pharmacy or something?

Since when have things changed that ANY vaccines are required by the London consulate to issue a visa? I mean seriously. It used to be that docs were required to inform applicants of the vaccines required to do AOS later on, but they didn't have to do them to sign off on the medical. That is why the DS-3025 is completed - so vaccine information is available in order to approve or decline AOS.

Has it changed? Can't Fi have this vaccine done in the states if she desires?

I thought HepB was only a requirement for someone age 19 and under... and NOT a requirement for the K1 but for the AOS...

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

It's not required for the AOS.

Proof of being current on all vaccinations is required. If someone falls into the age category of needing whatever vaccines are on the list, they must have them done.
