Hubby and I found a good company for health insurance called Humana. It's $141 per month for both of us combined, with a $3000 deductible. It's a high deductible but we could easily pay it if one of us had to be hospitalized. We'd much rather pay $3000 than $50,000; we just basically want to know that we're not going to go bankrupt from an illness or surgery. And co-pays for any doctor visits are $25. It doesn't include maternity but we could pay that out of pocket too, if we don't have benefits through one of our jobs once we get to the U.S. and get pregnant.
