Chicago has really improved then! We submitted AOS in October 2004 and didn't get AOS interview until August 2005.

I know it can be frustrating, my husband's NOA was Feb 15, and we have yet to hear about an interview or at least an RFE. I've learned that no matter how easy your case seems, especially compared to other people that you see get NOA'd/interviewed/approved within 3-4 months, that you cannot compare it because things happen. A good friend of ours who happens to be an attorney and does immigration cases told me that things get forgotten and misplaced more often than we think, or sent to the wrong desk, etc at immigration but usually within time sort themselves out. Expect nothing and you will probably be pleasantly surprised sometime when you open your email or check online or something and you've been touched or approved or sent to CSC or a number of things that could be happening with your case.
