Hey guys,

Firstly, yes I know I only filed in May and I know there are a million of people ahead of me still waiting. I am just a bit frustrated. The last time I have heard anything from the USCIS was on June 28th, and that was just a touch. I know its only been three month, and yes maybe I am a bit impatient. It just sucks seeing approvals that filed in June after me (no bitterness towards you guys, congrats to you all) and me hearing nothing since the end of June. This process is driving me nuts because I dont know when to worry or what's being done with my case. I just want to know SOMETHING! Ahhhhhhhh!

OK I'm done ;)

Stina - my case isn't exactly like yours, but it also hasn't been touched since June 29. That is a long time to wait, for even a 'touch', without any word. Especially when you see people with cases exactly the same who are already receiving interview letters. Tomorrow, my husband will call and ask for USCIS to do a Service Inquiry, which they told me we could do on day 75. I honestly never expected to see an EUD before 90 days, or to get an interview in less than a year; but when you see such highly variable timelines and hear about so many "manual errors" being made, stuff being 'lost' at the NSC, etc., a little bit of reassurance would be nice. Best of luck to you. Know you are NOT alone :help:

I know how you feel, I am in the same situation, online the info has been the same since May 31, 2006 stating that "we have your response to our request for more evidence." We had an interview on July 19 and nothing has been given or sent to us since then :help::crying::help::crying:

I scheduled an infopass for 8/7 and got a little info that our file was still in San Francisco and that they have requested the file for 3rd time and if they don't receive it, our case would be based on the interview, which went really well. I just have to wait for a little longer  . The immigration officer said it can take up to 3 months :help: but probably not.

I would recommend that you schedule an info pass appt to inquire about your case and call them on a weekly basis so that they can do something about the case

Good Luck to you (F):D

lol, thats what i thought with my two touches in a row in June... but alas :(

I still have hope though lol :D

I think I may wait a while longer before inquiring about my case. If I dont hear anything regarding anything this month, then maybe i will call just to make sure. Thanks for the advice and encouragement. Sometimes you just get those moments where you want to go freak out over this, whether you be two weeks into the process or a year... I am sure we all have been there lol.

I understand how hard is to be waiting for a "touch" but, please be patient.

For our process and after 2 months we applied, received an RFE. Well, after sending the evidence we had to wait 3 months for a new touch!, -yes that drives you crazy- I am not saying that it happens all the time, but just take a look with the other VJ'S timelines.

Just wanted to share this with you guys, hang in there and hopefully soon you'll get a new touch or why not? A welcome letter or GC!!!

Good luck to all of you.

ps. An infopass would be a good idea, you never know if "somebody" forgot to update your case!

I know exactly how you feel.....I filed for AOS mid-March, my case was transfered to CSC May 23, my last "touch" was June 17th....and NOTHING since then.

And every day we hear from people who filed a lot later and who are being approved (I know exactly how you mean it: We are really happy for them, but knowing about it makes waiting for our own case even harder....... :( )

I guess we'll just have to be more patient..... :)

Just one question, though:

What is that about the 75-day rule mentioned above...? Where can I find out about that...? Since I already filed in March, does that mean I can go and schedule an appointment now to ask about my case....?

Thanks + good luck to everyone who's still waiting,

CW

I don't know this for fact - it is just my take on things - but I suspect those long spaces of 2 and 3 months without a touch are the times while immigration is waiting for the responses to the security checks to come back. The touches prior to those waits are possibly the security checks being initiated and then the checks 2 or 3 months later are reviewing the security check responses. Just my take on things, but it wouldn't surprise me. Good luck to all of those who are waiting - may you all get your AOS' approved much faster than I did,

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Hmmm, I never thought of that. Fact or not, it is definitely a possibility.
