My Wife and I are planning on visiting her family here in the new future. I was wondering how we go about traveling with her Green Card? I know i have my U.S. Passport, But what about her? Will she travel with her current passport (Cambodia) and/with the U.S. Green Card? Will she be able to get back into the state okay? thanks in advance!!!

Also, it would be a good idea to have her passport changed to reflect the married name if you haven't done so.

HI,

does it mean, that I could travel without my AP and with my German passport and my 2-years GC??? Passport will be changed into married name. And another question: What about working? I still have my EAD Card? Do I really need to give it to my employer?? Or is GC good enough???

Thanks,

Lika

once you get your green card, it overrides and replaces your EAD and your AP. :)

my passport is still in my maiden name, so I took my certified copy of my marriage lisence along with me, and my green card when I travelled. Not a problem. I also made sure that my plane tickets were in my maiden name, or I wouldn't have gotten through security.
