does anybody knows if Syracuse, NY accept early biometrics? I am working on my appt day

10/21/11 - papers sent

10/24/11 at 8:45 Delivery confirmed

10/27/11 Check cashed

10/26/11 NOA1

11/4/11 Biometrics for 11/22/11

11/28/11 received notification that I am in line for interview scheduling

11/30/11 received both text and email that my N-400 is already schedule for interview

1/05/12 interview - passed !!!!

3/22/12 Oath Ceremony !!!!

I don't know what to do...

to just walk-in and if they don't accept early biometrics, to go back again on my appt day?

N-400

I would try to walk in at a time they are not busy and politely ask to do the biometrics earlier. It wouldn't hurt to mention that you have to work during your appointment day, and that is why you are trying to do it earlier.

bszoom42 is correct.

From previous posts - most members went early to the ASC and were able to get in since they were not busy that early.

Another thing I always recommend is make sure you don't have any scratches or cuts on your hands, especially fingers. If they see cuts or scratches, they will definitely ask you to return on your scheduled date.

N-400 Naturalization Timeline

06/28/11 .. Mailed N-400 package via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

10/20/11 .. Received text/email: Oath scheduled

10/22/11 .. Received OATH letter

11/09/11 .. Oath ceremony
