...does anyone know if I can send sms (text msgs) to Orange (I think about the one in Poland...)

Cause for us (hubby and me) Sprint's family plan works the best for us - I think. $59.99 and we get550mins. and international sms's will cost only 0.10c!!! The problem is on list of countries I can send sms to is only one Polish company (porkomtel) witch was the first one ever in Poland but now is more maior ones. I don't know what to do. We were almost signing the contract till I foun d this think.

Thank you for any help and exchanging experience!

I have Verizon and I can sms David who has O2 in Germany.

We cheated. I dont know if you can, but its worth a shot....We use mobile IM on ours, I log into messenger from my phone, she actually did it at the PC so that it logs into her and forwards all her messages to her cell. Our phones are always signed into Yahoo messenger so its always local for both of us. I created IDs for both of us then we know when we get the message, we know its from our baby! hehe...just my .02

2/7/07 (2/8/07 manila) - Informed we are approved...3 days after interview.

2/12/07 Visa Received

2/16/07 Baby arrives in US!!!!!

Cingular offers international text messaging to MANY countries and carriers: http://www.cingular.com/media/text_messaging_international I've always been able to text my fiance' in both Italy and Albania without any problems :thumbs:

10/14/2006: NOA -- case transferred to CSC

10/30/2006: AOS approved without interview, greencard will be sent! :)

11/04/2006: Greencard arrives in the mail! :-D

... No more USCIS for two whole years! ...

Thanks all. To answer my question just needed to call 1-800 sprint1 number and am set :) for 10c/sms can send it either in US or to Poland :) sounds good but just hope Sprint wont loose to much signal anymore :-/ We'll see I guess :)

we both keep msn and yahoo set to our mobile.. and can send to each others mobile free of cost.. ..

Verizon charges international rate to do sms.. but that is only if the carrier he has on mobile is thier list.. and our luck .. Hutch in India is not a Mobile probider working with Verizon.. grrrr..

best way is to do it via msn or yahoo.. set preferences to go to mobile when signed off.. all messages will go to phone..

when i only want messages from him i block everyone else on my list... that keeps wackos out from sending random ...

just get a GSM provider .. that's the easiest way to go..more compatibility than getting a CDMA provider.. although verizon has a lot of compatible services in europe too
