My petition was approved on June 25th, now im moving on to the affidavit of support. What can I leave blank on the financial part of the I-134? I noticed on the example form, the bank balance was left out. I have the income to meet the requirements as I make 28,000 dollars a year with a recent pay raise as well, it will be over 30,000, but my bank balance is rather low. I also claimed a dependent in 08 and 07, but not 09 (the most recent) will this raise any questions during the interview with my fiance? I was thinking about just sending the 09 return which is the one that states i made 28,000 just to avoid issues. The 08 return was only 20,000 and the one before that was 16,000. Any help on this will be appreciated, I think i got everything else under control!! Thanks yall

I was even contemplating getting my uncle to Co-sign,but dont want to if i dont need to, do you think it is neccesary with my situation? I got everything I need, except for the balance in the bank. I also own a vehicle worth over 13,000, where can I include that on the I-134?

Any advice??

We rather have a much more complicated situation- my fiance didnt have any money in the USA as he works here in PH- he had put a lot of zeros all over that

I134F and I was still approved for K1 last year..

I guess, you have more tine to at least save a little bit more in your bank- as an evidence youhave savings that will support your fiancee during her stay

and her stay permanently with you, as long as you have your own property/house which you can also provide as an evidence, and present your prevous taxes, then

you'd be all set.

You should not have a problem since they really want to know where you are currently with regards to income. It might still help to show an account where you have money deposited every month, but they are still more concerned with income being sufficient.

Pardon for asking but what do you mean by "he had put a lot of zeros all over that"

and..if you were approved on a K1 last year why does your timeline say your I-129f was sent just recently in June?

He had put zeros to almost all the fields, for example there is one there that ask for your savings amount in USA- he put 0

if you have property in the USA, and what value 0, etc...

I was already approved a K1 last year and was in the USA last December-- and returned in PH last Jan, we didnt get married that time.

We filed another K1 this June with the IMBRAA waiver--- even if I am the same alien and he is the same petitioner, with a cover letter with the

intention of pushing through the wedding plan this time.

Guys and girls

I am sorry to bother but I REALLY need all the help you can provide me. My lawyer kept my NOA and in order to send me a copy of it she asked me (in an indirect way) to proceed to the "second phase payment" in order to send me the paper and continue with me. I had to deny for to my ears it sounded as a blackmail. Now I am COMPLETELY in the dark. To start 1) I have no idea what kinda savings I should show to my account. Would a couple thousands dollars, do the job? Can anyone help? 2) What papers should we start gathering for the interview? Is there any page/site that notes all the paperwork needed? 3) Any recommendations for a lawyer that can take the rest of the "job" from where it is left? I ´d REALLY appreciate any help (I am sinking here:():

Thank you

The most important part of the I-134 is in area 7 where you indicate your annual income. That is how the consular is able to compare you against the US poverty guidelines. If you have nothing on deposit in savings banks in the United States, no personal property with any value, no stocks or bonds or life insurance policies, it shouldn't make a difference.

Just be certain that whatever dollar amount you list as your annual income can be verified by your 2009 US Income Tax return and W2.

If you DO have money stashed in bank accounts, stocks or bonds, or own real estate, then by all means feel free to list it but it's not mandatory that you do so.

Guys and girls, I am so confused that I am about to crack under pressure. I got a letter from the VSC. Ok it says: I-797C and states that "the above petition has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate. Please contact the the consulate with any questions about visa issuance. The petitioner can also file Form I-824 Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition". Ok does that mean that my petition went directly to the consulate and now the embassy of U.S.A. in Colombia is the one that handles my case? I am so confused and helpless that I am scared to death. Plz help... Be blessed
