Does anybody have the same experience. I filled my 751 in Dec. 31, 2009. As of July 1, 2010, I have not yet received my 10 year green card. Feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

Did you get your biometrics done?

I'd suggest you make an infopass appointment...

Based on the timeline, it looks like biometrics were done back in January.

CIS Office : Vermont Service Center

Date Filed : 2009-12-09

NOA Date : 2009-12-31

Bio. Appt. : 2010-01-29

Comments : It was six months on July 1, 2010 and I have not received my green card yet. Called them up, gave me a reference number and they said they will advice me by post what is going on.

Also, it looks like the OP has already called USCIS and they issued a reference number and will respond back, which was what I was going to suggest.

Best of luck!

There are two options:

1. Schedule an infopass and see if they can provide you any insight regarding your petition.

2. Contact your local congressman/woman and have them place an inquiry regarding your petition. This option will not expedite a decision, but it will service similar to an infopass.

If it has been more than 6 months, in general, then you should definitely followup on your application.

Hmm .. I just filed ours today but, I wont start to get worried yet seems it can take a while, maybe due to the fact TSC and NSC are not processing and VSC and CSC have an overload of petitions ??

To be on the safe side you should make an info pass appointment, last time i got a delay like that was because they sent an RFE that never got to my house and the case got on stand by. Only resumed after I sent the documents they wanted. Not to get you worried but, better safe than sorry :) Hang in there.

Take care

Annette

My wife is currently in the same situation, We filed her 751 Nov. 20, 2009 through the California service center. We received the receipt extending her status for an additional year and all biometrics have been complied with but as of July 29, 2010 we still have not received anything else.
