I don't believe there is an age limit. However to bring a sibling you are looks at quite a few years depending on what country you are from.

Removal of Conditions: 12/09/2011

ROC check cashed 12/15/11

NOA1 12/13/11

Biometrics 1/6/12 Complete

RFE 9/13/12

RFE package sent back 10/17/12

Card Production Ordered 12/04/12

10 year card arrived in mail 12/10/12

Are you saying this process takes about 10 years from the filing of the I-130 until the sibling gets a visa (if approved)? I was just looking into this because my husb wants to sponsor his sister. I can't find an estimate of how long this particular process usually takes.

more than 9 years, for Mexicans around 15.

the age doesn't matter, nor if they are single or married, the waiting is the same. there is only one category for siblings.

Well, I cringe to think how long for Pk. Even K-1 and K-3 can takes several years when you factor in AP.

Oh well.

Thanks for the reply!

A sibling of a USC is classified a Family preference 4 (F4)

If you look at the current visa bulletin they are processing petitions with a priority date of Jan 2001 for all chargeable areas except Mexico and the PI. Mexico and the PI are much longer.
