Regarding the I-864A

Hi guys, just want to clarify something.

a. my husband (the petitioner) has to sign part 2 right?

b. we do not need to have it notarized, right?

c. we send our paperwork to our parents in the US and they send it to NVC. we sent our paperwork already but failed to send the signed I-864A. Can my husband just fill it out and sign it and send a scanned PDF copy that our parents have to sign as well?

d. does my mom-in-law have to fill out I-864A? she's the joint sponsor.

YOUR REPLIES ARE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

btw, we just want to know if we can just send a scanned copy of the signed I-864A because we want to save up on courier fee. it sucks that we already shelled out a couple thousand just to send an incomplete packet.
