hello so i am confused about needing to provide the I-134 or the I-1864 at my fiances Visa interview in Lima peru.

i am in the states, and trying to cut corners and wanting to send the affidavit of support asap....just to be prepared and make the process as short as possible.

the least amount of things we have to send in the mail the better!

i am wondering what others who have had interviews at the lima embassy recently had to present?

i have been trying to reach the embassy in lima, but it is very difficult!

thank you for any help :)

Hi Charity :)

First of all, you need to fill out the I-134 as the other posters have said. Your fiancee is going to receive a packet with instructions when his interview is scheduled. I know you want to cut corners, but trust me, get everything ready and when he receives that packet double check you have everything they are asking for and send it all at once.

My husband and I went through this at the Lima embassy back in 2008 and if you are missing any documents it will hold up your case.

Good luck with everything,

Suzy
