OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!

I was at the doctor with a massive migraine, waiting and unhappy, when I got a text. I was so out of it I almost thought it was spam, till I notice an EAC number in it! It was from USCIS telling me my case status had been updated!

10 seconds later I got an email, checked it and found out my approval notice was mailed out yesterday!!! I just got my NOA1 on June 11th!! This is so fast!!!!

Good luck to everyone else still waiting on Vermont! They're churning them out!!! :wow:

Congrats!!

But, I'm seriously considering eating my $455 and filing a new petition. The June petitions have somehow leapfrogged the one's from the earlier months. I know different adjudicators work at different speeds, but there is no logic to this.

(I really am happy for the quick turnarounds people are receiving. Those <30 day timeframes SHOULD be the norm for all petitions.)

Lucky you! I haven't gotten any reply or touches since 4/20/10, when I got my NOA1. I am guessing most of April filers have gotten their NOA2. I am really starting to get worried.

Congratulations!

I got my NOA1 on 4/21 and have seen nothing since. I was thinking things were moving along and wasn't expecting any news until late July or early August. Now, with so many April, May and June filers receiving NOA2s, I'm starting to think there's a problem with mine but I have no RFE that I'm aware of. At the very least, I'm second-guessing everything I decided to send to USCIS as evidence (birth certificate vs. passport, boarding passes but no hotel receipts, only 3-4 pictures together...)

I thought for purposes of the petition, I only had to meet the "met within the past two years", free to and intend to marry requirements (and, of course, being a USC..) I was going to save the overwhelming evidence for the embassy stage (and we have plenty, if we ever get there!)

Good luck. Hope we both hear something soon!
