Aeroflot flight cancel any advises?

Hi everyone,

I bought two tickets from Aeroflot and due to situation in my country I decided to cancel the flights or change the dates for the end of July. I sent to Aeroflot office a letter with flight numbers in order to cancel the tickets and buy a new one with dates for the end of July. However, they sent me back an e-mail where says it takes 30 days to process my request. I don't have that much money right now to buy a new ticket the only option was to get the money back and buy a new ticket. I tried to call Aeroflot office, but they really seemed to be not that helpful. I decided asking somebody who has experienced the same problem as me. What should I do? Does it really take 30 days to refund my money?

I'm sure the office has a telephone. In addition, driving two hours is better than having to buy a whole new plane ticket.

the office has a phone number of course, but they never answer their phones. i hold the phone on the line for 57 minutes and it hangs up on me i call again for 57 minutes and hangs up again. nobody wants to ppick up the phone or i have no idea how else to contact them. even if we'll travel 2 hours to get to the nearest office they may tell the same answer as the phone lady. we need to make it clear before we travel so far. we need to take a day off from work and etc to get there.

Dd you check their website for a phone number? I have never had a problem to call them. I usually use the office in New York. Last year I had to change a flight reseveration, they refunded my money immediately while we were on the phone (minus the $200 for a ticket change, per the rules of purchase) and sold me a new ticket. I had to cancel three tickets in December and they gave me a full credit for all sums paid (it was a medical emergency and I faxed a copy of my medical information to their New York office)

Did you buy the tickets by credit card? If you are expecting a check, it can take longer, for me they did everything electronically on my credit card.
