Hoping someone can help me out.

My situation is this. I am a UK citizen here with a marriage based green card which is due to expire in September, I'm going through the Removal of Conditions forms, collecting information etc. My wife, a few weeks ago said she wants to get a divorce and as such we are separated as divorce proceedings take a year I cannot send in proof of divorce with my I 751 as we don't have one yet. Should I still be filing jointly as she said she will sign the forms and we have proof of a genuine marriage. We are also both living at separate addresses to our original home.
