I find the fact that you put the word "almost" in "italics" a little "condescending". "Mmmmkay"??

VJ works MUCH better if nobody tries to help anyone. EVER.

Sooo. Here's news at my end. I just got a job at a local community bank here in Michigan and was supposed to start work this week. However, Mr. Sachinky interviewed with a basketball team this past weekend and they faxed him a job offer we can't refuse. So now, we're moving to NEW MEXICO in two weeks time. I don't whether to laugh or cry. I hate moving! I was just settling in here!

Thanks, guys! It is a really good opportunity for him and I'm excited to live in a completely different part of the country I've never been to before. It's just the pain of packing/moving right after I just unpacked and got settled that's frustrating to deal with. Oh well, such is life.

Our Fourth was spent fretting and making to-do lists all day. Although we did go to see the fireworks on the pier and that was pretty incredible.

Yo--I received my Welcome Letter on 6/28. It was dated 06/22. Card production ordered on July 1st. I'm hoping it's in the mail soon.

awesome sach! congrats to you and your hubby too! i'd think a basketball offer would be moolah-rific, no? ie, cha-ching!

my wife had been battling an ear inflammation ever since we got here a couple of weeks back and right as we're getting done with that, now its an acute case of laryngitis. at least its nothing serious!

on a more positive news, i got my 195 bucks returned to me by the indian consulate for not double-processing the stupidity they made everyone go thru to get indian visas (let alone the fact that they charged folks 175 bucks to get a visa and 2 weeks later, reversed their stand and ppl no longer have to pay that, meaning that i paid 175 bux for nothing; guess i have to be glad it wasnt 390 bucks!)...

Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale - My beautiful wife Soni

Grats to Mr Sachinky for the great job offer! You might want to research the differences in the climates - primarily there the difference in humidity. (Not sure what the humidity level was like where you were in India.)
