Hey everyone!

I just posted a new topic, but thought I'd run it by ya'll too... Have you guys noticed that in the new version of the I-134, at the end, where the sponsor signs, there's like a slot, and when you leave the cursor on it it says : Enter relationship. It's right in the middle of the oath, and had no relation whatsoever with the text itself... What do they want you to write there? The relationship between the sponsor and the beneficiary?

:help:

Thanks for the help, I'm trying to get the form done before leaving for the beach next week, and I'm stuck on that, everything else is done!!!

Hi Vero,

I've noticed that spot too, but I just left it blank. I did mine exactly like the example form. It should be fine :) I'll probably bring a blank I-134 with us to the interview just in case. Hope you have fun at the beach next week!

Hey everyone!

Alright, so I think I have resolved my little I-134 problem. I'll fill two forms in, one with the relationship space blank, and one filled in. This way, I'll give them the one filled in, and if anything happens, I'll have another one with me... Nobody seems to know for sure and I haven't had replied on the other post since yesterday...

Leaving for the beach on Saturday, very excited!!! :D It'll be nice to just relax and do NOTHING! Even though that's pretty much what I've been doing since being here!

Here our list again, just to make everyone freak out about HOW SOON it is!!!

Thanks for doing this Vero.

I am counting down the days!!!

I went shopping today for a new outfit to wear to the interview. I probably should have picked another day to do it. I didn't buy anything because I am exhausted from my medical exam (:

They take a chest xray they take blood they make sure all your shots are up-to-date, depending on the office they will do an eye exam as well. They do a psyical exam and ask you a lot of questions about addictions and drugs ie if you have done them ever. Make sure your shots are up-to-date or you will be charged extra for the ones you dont have.

For the interview, its a government office. Have you ever worn pjamas to a job interview? or any interview? why wouldnt you dress nicely for an interview lol. You want to make a good impression and not look like a slob right??

I worn some nice black jeans and a button up shirt with a collar on it and got some nice new black shoes to go with the outfit.

DianaM,

My medical took 10 minutes overall... I spent more time waiting in the room than in any office. I got to see the doctor (took 3 minutes, checked my reflexes, my abdomen, my spine, THAT'S IT, asked me if I had ever been hospitalized, THAT'S IT), went for chest x-rays (3 minutes) and blood sample/eye exam (10 minutes). Bring your immunization card with you. If you're missing shots, they will give them to you there.

Went through Medysis, by the way...

Wishing,

That's right, less than a month!!!

So I've given up on copying my support forms and evidence from the printer at home, going to Staples today... I swear to God, it took 30 minutes to make copies for 10 pages, and ran out of ink

Mad!

So this week I've finished (I think) organising all my paperwork for the interview. Thought it would be helpful to compare notes with each other:)

I've organised it in a 13 pocket folder, and 2 polyzip letter size envelopes!

In the 13 pocket folder:

-Appointment Letter (P4)

-NOA 1

-NOA 2

-Package 3 letter

-Copy of Package 3 response documents

-CDN Passport

-Passport bio page copy

-3 passport size pics (I had 3 left over not 2)

-Police certificate original & copy

-Original Birth Certificate and Certified copy

-Certified translation of birth certificate (Quebec)

-Fiancee Birth Certificate

- Intent to Marry letters

-Affadavit of Support

-Evidence of Support (includes letter from bank, letter from employer etc.)

-Paystub (6 months)

-IRS Tax Receipts (3 years)

-Evidence of Domicile (US passport bio page, Driver's license, rental agreement, utility bills

-Medical Envelope

-Immunization sheet

-Resume/TN Visa stuff (from my work in US last year...)

And in the 2 polyzip envelope:

-Proof of relationship (small album with 36 pictures (spanning last 10 years since high school!!), original I-129F submission copy, last 6 months of evidence including engagement ring receipt, cell phone bills, boarding passes and credit card bills)

-2nd polyzip has the expresspost envelope folded in half for easy portability!!

Alright...anyone have anything else I'm missing? If anything I think I probably went overboard!!! Thanks!!

Sweet... Looks like your all set to go Wishing :)

Mine is pretty similar to yours, with the same exact info as yours.. the only different thing is, is that I put mine in a zipped up binder and put everything in those plastic sheets with labels where everything is. Plus I got a 12 slot pocket folder, but i'm not sure if i'm going to use that yet.. I might be able to fit that stuff into the binder too, but we will see. I might just leave it the way I have it now..

I hope they allow zip up binders at the Montreal consulate office??? it's not a clear binder either! but i'll just leave it unzipped just in case they want to look in it before they put it threw the scanner.

Someone told me they used a zipped up binder at the Vancouver Consulate and had no problems.. so I hope it will be ok.

I have the same things as you guys too! Isn't exciting to look in the binder and see all the paper organized and labeled! Haha! I love organizing!

So hey, less than a month!!! I can't wait!!!!

As for the clothing thing, someone told me they went casual, flip flops actually, and since you're talking to a booth most of the time, it's fine. I'm sure you can wear something really dressy, but you can also weat dark jeans and a t-shirt. Of course it's official business, so I probably won't be wearing my "I cut the cheese in Wisconsin" t-shirt!

:jest:

"I cut the cheese in Wisconsin" t-shirt!:jest:

LoL..That's too funny, I guess i can't wear my T-shirt that says "Everything is bigger in Texas" T-shirt either..hehe

I think me and josh are going to go casual. I'm probably going to wear dark blue jeans with a nice dressier t-shirt and possibly some sort of sandal. It's gonna be HOT, so I don't wanna get all dulled up and be uncomfortable and sweaty. Yuck!

J&J, you'll be fine with that! I also read from some reviews that some of the staff even went to work in sweat pants! So I'm sure whatever we end up wearing we'll be just fine!

Alright, well all I have left is finishing up the co-sponsor form and gather up evidence of domicile, and that's it!!! Leaving for the beach on Saturday though, so I'll only have 5 days to finish it all up before flying back... Gosh, time is FLYING by!!!

I am nervous.

My interview is just around the corner and I am STILL waiting for my Echo exam results! I need to fax them to the Toronto civil surgeon ASAP! Ugh. All of this is for a murmur that I don't have. I blame the strong cup of coffee for making my heart bump on my medical exam day, and have sworn to give it up because I am just so annoyed.

I'm going to start phoning the hospital every day until they give me my results. :bonk:

Other than that, I feel pretty ready for the interview. I am just praying that everything goes smoothly at the interview.

Good luck with your prep work and look forward to my review of Montreal!!!! YAY!
