Got my approval letter in the mail today. Still haven't gotten any more touches or email alerts since Thursday so I guess not everyone gets more than one. Just waiting on the card now. Hope to see lots of action in this thread this week. :thumbs:

Congratulations JamericanLove! Hopefully you will receive your new card sometime this week.

Yes, hopefully more July approvals will come this week. I think it takes 15-20 days after biometrics for them to review file after biometrics day. It's a trend I noticed with some guys this year.

Thank you very much KC MP. Your post gave me a relief a little bit because when my husband and I called that 1800 it seemed that my application was hopeless. No one knew where it went. Anyway, another week of waiting as usual. This process really tested all of our patience. Good luck to all of us and congratulations on your approval. Are you from the Philippines? Mabuti ka pa at natapos na ang paghihintay... God bless you and your love ones.

I know how you feel eventhough my waiting was not as long as yours.It's depressing to check everyday and all you get is the same message that your case number doesn't exist.....Yes, I'm from the Philippines (MP). It's my 3rd week after my biometrics and still hoping that later when our mailwoman arrives I will have a good news from USCIS. Since my number is not showing up in their system MAYBE there will be a surprise for me in the mailbox. Good luck to all of us STILL WAITING... God bless!

Has anybody decided if they'll go for citizenship? I'm not sure yet...still weighing out the choices and watching the economy for a bit.

I just got the 'approval notice sent' email and text so I don't feel so different anymore. :lol:

On another note, someone from April CSC filers just got an approval today...let's pray for a couple more before the day is out! :thumbs:

Congrats to everybody getting approved! I feel very fortunate that we got our approval-but at the same time so guilty that SO many others before us haven't. I know that USCIS has its own method of madness...but I don't get how the past few months are barely trickling in and July is going full force.

We drove to Naperville this morning for the biometrics. Arrived 30 minutes early and went straight to the desk. We were the only customers. Was asked for biometrics letter and green card. Sat down and filled out paperwork. Immediatly had fingerprints and pictures taken after turning in paperwork. Was out the door in exactly 10 minutes and headed for the Nagoya Seafood Buffet.

We were already planning citizenship today. :thumbs:

09-03-2013: Inline for interview (Yellow letter received: 10-23-13)
11-04-2013: Interview scheduled (Received: 11-09-13)
12-12-2013: Interview (Approved)
01-03-2014: Oath ceremony, passport application and passport received

Haven't checked in for awhile. My file number just started working on the USCIS website. They have recieved my application, which I already knew from their letter.

But it looks like the approvals are starting to roll in. Great news!

Congrats to everybody that has been approved!!
