Congrats to everyone who got approved and good luck to the rest of us, on a side note, got the biometrics done yesterday and now (a day later) I am able to check the case status Online, signed up for SMS and email notification as well.

hello everyone, I am a little bit worried, it has exactly been 1 month since I got my first NOA (7/26/10 NOA's Date) and I have not heard anything for my BIO appointment yet.

also, I had to write USCIS a letter because my first NOA had my name incomplete and misspelled.

anybody else has been experiencing the same situation??

Hi andres0603. If you look back on the last group of July VSC filers you'll see that several people have yet to receive a bio appointment. I hope you guys will get them soon. I think if it's been 30 days you can try to do a service request to find out about the NOA2 and when your appointment will be.

are the customer service people @ USCIS would be able to tell when NOA2 is schedule or do I have to ask for an officer

You're welcome. From what I've read the customer service people are as helpful as a space heater in August. Your best bet when you call is to ask for an officer who will more likely be able to assist you. As you said though give it another week or so to see if you see anything first just to be sure.

Like andres, I still have not received our bio letter either. I called about three weeks ago and spoke to an immigration officer and was reassured it could take up to 60 days to get a letter. I'm getting very discouraged at this point and am wondering what our next step should be if we don't get a letter. Should I wait a little longer since we already spoke with an officer?

Andres0603 is Charlotte your local office? It's mine and I received my NOA2 on the same day as you did and still haven't gotten my bio appointment. It also looks like there is someone on the August filer list who is in the same boat. I'm thinking that Charlotte must just be a busier office and we should all hear something soon.

July filers have been averaging an approval every other day or so...hopefully anything one comes in before days end and if not that then hopefully someone will report a bio appointment.

yes my local office is charlotte, I was just concern that half of the july BIO's have been received and the other half still waiting on it(suddenly stopped )

looks like USCIS is jumping one month from the other back and forth, a prime example is the August files, they already have more than three or four BIO appointments from Vermont.
