July 2010 Filers

I called the FBI yesterday about biometrics. They said my name check and fingerprints were received by them, processed, and sent back to USCIS the same day they were done on July 23, 2010. I had a touch on July 23, 2010 and a touch on July 26, 2010 but nothing since then, but I am unlucky and from CSC.

May I ask why you think you're unlucky? You're way within processing times having filed in mid-June and April CSC filers are just getting approved now in August. If you've confirmed that your name check and prints have been received by USCIS then it's just a matter of waiting for your approval. You're in good shape so far as I see it. :thumbs:

Seems to me that approval time at CSC have increased from roughly 30 days (March) after biometrics to 60 days (April)

I guess we'll see what it averages to over time because for a while there CSC was at a complete standstill. I'm just glad to see they are working on I-751's again. :yes:

Hello,

Yesterday went for my husband's biometrics appointment at noon. There was nobody and basically the staff was doing nothing.. Reached at 11:45 am by 11:55 am we were done. So fast and easy day plus application support center was just 5 mins away from our house...

That's great Bani! I had a similar experience except had to drive 1.5 hours to get there. :lol: Now it's time to wait!

Anybody else who filed at VSC got a bio appointment yet? :unsure:

Thanks for updating my timeline ! And for the Congrats It will be nice to have a little peace of mind from now on I get to keep my Fuzzybear!! (wonders what the naturalization process is like.. nah too soon for that )

I did a biometrics walk-in today in Phoenix. They were nice and they accepted, the guy by the door who was replacing the security guard at that time, had to call to ask them first if i was allowed to do it early. It was busy in there, i waitted about 45 mins. The same guy that was by the door, was the one who took my fingerprints and photo. Now, it's waitting time.
