We received our bio appointment letter 5 days after receiving our NOA1 letter :wow:

Our file hasn't been touched since after the biometrics...I thought that was a good thing but now everyone else is getting touched so maybe my "no touch, no RFE" theory was wrong :(

Agggghhh! This process is so crazy!

On a happier note...congrats to everyone that has rcvd paperwork :) Hopefully they keep up the momentum!

Regarding the back ground checks and how long the process takes, does it matter what country the applicant is from? For example our initial CR1 was done thru the Casablanca embassy which is known for its denials and fraud. Will this weigh in on how they approve the ROC?

I tried to check my status on line, but it shows this: "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status,Please check your receipt number and try again...." I tried again, and it still the same, what does this mean? how long does it take that they put my case in the system ?

You have to wait till you get the Bio appointment letter and use the number in it to check online, If you read the bottom of the NOA you have now, there's:

Upon receipt of your ASC appointment notice, you can find the status of your case online at www.uscis.gov. To view the status of your case, enter the application number found at the top of the ASC appointment notice...
