Went for early bio at Philly this morning, was in and out in 15 minutes flat. I also see a touch that seems quick.

So as of now our thread is showing the following;

CSC

-5 members haven't received NOA1 letters

-7 members haven't received biometrics letters/appointments

VSC

-2 members haven't received NOA1 letters

-7 members haven't received biometrics letters/appointments

Hope by next week or so we all receive something in the mail

Good luck to all of us.

That's not bad progress at all. I think that once things get moving again we should see some approvals for July filers. If that happens I would attribute it to the fact that we are getting our bio appointments at the same time as many May and June filers and some of us have appointment dates before they do.

I understand that actual adjudication of cases doesn't take very long so let's hope that as soon as the biometrics hit USCIS they will start working on our cases. :thumbs:

Yay...congrats! Looking forward to mine on Friday morning. :dance: If you don't mind, what time did you go in and how long after did you see your "touch"?

ASC is around 40 miles from my home and I reached at 9.45am and was out at 10am. I checked for the touch around 5pm.

Ok I feel stupid that after going through so much with USCIS I dont get much about the online case status SO I can finally see my case and it says initial review in the bubble filled in...when I go to another screen it shows my case #, whether we have email updates and last update date. Is this last update date what you call a touch? Or am I missing some other great page of info that I can become OCD about checking lol???

Nope...that's all it is. When the last update date changes but your status stays the same that's what they call a "touch". Apparently every time your file is moved or worked on it's (usually) scanned and that updates the date. I notice that a lot of the time nothing changes for some people with the online status and they just end up getting stuff in the mail. So it looks like it can go either way.

I know after I do the biometrics will be when I'll start checking constantly for touches or any sign of movement. :lol:

I really hope you are right. Yes there are a lot of April and June filers that are still missing their bio appointments. This means we will be processed at the same time. From most threads I have been reading is that CSC is slow compared to VSC Good luck to all of us who are waiting

CSC is slow....for the moment.

It seems like things tend to wax and wane when it comes to CSC and VSC. This minute one is rocking and rolling and the next minute things are at a standstill. Who knows what will happen in the future? We may see the floodgates open at CSC for this type of application or we may have to hold out a bit longer. It's really a wait and see situation at this point. :yes:

One thing that's for sure is that USCIS is not processing the cases in the order they were received since June filers are already getting approvals. If that's the case maybe some of us will get good news in the near future. When you consider that July so far has the least amount of filers our odds are pretty good! :thumbs:

My wife was able to do a walk in at the ASC in Sugarland, TX today 8-4-10. In and out in 15 mins. No questions asked. I was a little worried, since the original appointment location was in another state. Now the real wait begins.
