alright guys, i just had a successful early walk-in to have my biometrics done today, they were nice enough to let me in instead of waiting one more month for the actual appointment.

One question though, does this effect the AOS process? will it make it faster? or there would be no difference if I did the biometrics a month from now on the scheduled appointment?

For the most part it can hasten your process slightly but they tend to wait until close to your original biometrics date to make most updates.

Naturalization (5 months 2 days or 155 days)

Got our EAD and AP weeks after our early biometrics appointment. AOS interview was 1.5 months afterwards. Please post the location of your biometrics appointment so other users can benefit.

ok thx guys, location was phoenix, AZ.

Hi

I did a walk at Phoenix in 3rd week of June, my appointment was not supposed to be until mid July.

I think it did speed things up, Five days after walk in, I received apponitment letter for Interview.

Ironically, the interview is within a week of the orignal biometrics in July.

So I can conclude that my answer to your question is "yes" in my case.

Unless of course ....... regardless whether I did a walk in or not, they were going to send me an interview appointment.
