private messaging

Hi

I recieved a private message from a user and I can't figure out how to access it. When I click the number "1" in my profile pic the following message comes up "[#10227] You are not allowed to use the private messaging system"

Any help as to how to setup this feature would be appreciated, I do not seem to have messageing as a menu option under my profile name.

I think someone suggested to Ewok awhile back that Personal Messages be disabled until a person has enough posts. Not sure if he did it, but it sounds like it. (It was to discourage marketers misusing the site)

I imagine if you post a few more times your inbox will unlock.

While that is a good suggestion, Sousuke, unfortunately that option hasn't been implemented. Hopefully Captain Ewok will have an idea of what is happening.

Check here and make sure you do not have your personal messenger disabled:
