I-130 and I-485 filing question

Hi All,

First of all, I would like to thank all of the people working on this site and the people posting to this forum. You all have been a tremendous help with the process.

Anyways, I have a simple question, and maybe it has been asked and answered before, I tried finding the answer but with all the stuff going on right now I am just slightly overwhelmed.

My question is:

I am following the guide to put my 2 packages together, the I-130 and the I-485 using the "Step-by-Step Guide on How to File an I-130 for a Spouse Inside the US" guide.

Do I file both "packages" to the same place (Chicago)? or do I file one in Chicago and the other one to my local office here in Phoenix? In form I-130 on page 2 it asked "Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in:", and I put in Phoenix AZ there. So do I need to mail the I-485 package to Phoenix, or is that so they know where to forward the application to?\

08/10/2010 - (39) - EAD Touched

08/11/2010 - (40) - EAD Received!!!!

09/23/2010 - (83) - Interview!!! APPROVED!!!

09/23/2010 - (83) - I-130 and I-485 Touched

09/24/2010 - (84) - I-130 and I-485 Touched

09/27/2010 - (87) - Approval notice received in snail mail (stamped 9/24/10)

If you are filing I-130 and I-485 concurrently, send all of it to the Chicago lockbox designated for concurrent filing. Cheers!
