Hi Vj's we are almost done with our package. Pls help us by looking at our checklist to see if we are missing anything or if we did something wrong..we are only relying on VJ for guides & infos..

so here we go:

1. Money Order payable to U.S. department of Homeland Security

2. Cover letter

3. I-129F

-question#9 asking for name of prior spouse-we put the petitioner's prior spouse' CURRENT NAME w/c is the same as my fiance since its not

specifically asking for prior spouse's MAIDEN NAME right?

-question#10 asking for naturalization certificate number- we put "unknown/copy of U.S. passport provided"

4. I-129F Supplement: part B, Question 18, Explanation of meeting in person

5. G-3325A of Petitioner

n here we wrote the MAIDEN NAME of the petitioner's prior spouse

6. Passport style photo of Petitioner labeled at the back, placed in ziplock,labeled and attached to a sheet of paper

7. G-325A of Beneficiary

8. Passport style photo of Petitioner labeled at the back, placed in ziplock,labeled and attached to a sheet of paper

9.Copy of US Passport - Petitioner

10. Letter certifying intent to marry-Petitioner

11. Letter certifying intent to marry- Beneficiary

12. Proof of having met in person in the past 2 years

Pictures- 1st & 2nd visit

Airline Tickets, Boarding passes,Itineraries, Passport Stamps- 1st & 2nd visit

Resort receipts, gate pass & brochures, Other receipts from my country

13. Proof of ongoing relationship

Gmail, YM, Skype chat archive, call history& samples

videocall/webcam snapshots

Myspace & friendster messages

Phonebills - petitioner

Magicjack call history - beneficiary

Money transfer receipts

14. Copy of Final Divorce decree- with judge's signature/stamp,date of termination of marriage.

* All forms needing signature were all signed, made a duplicate of the entire package.

* We used ACCO fastener & tabs..(will post a pic soon)

Are we all set? we need the keen eye of Vj members.. thank yoww ^^

08/11/2011 - Biometrics Appointment--DONE!

08/19/2011 - Interview Letter/Notice sent

08/31/2011 - EAD card/document production ordered

09/06/2011 - EAD case touched

09/12/2011 - EAD received!

09/21/2011 - AOS Interview-APROVED ON THE SPOT/email notice: GC productionn ordered, approval notice sent

09/26/2011 - AOS Approval Notice/Welcome Notice received!

09/30/2011 - Got my GC in the mail today!

use a personal check...allows for better tracking I think. If a money order can be tracked then I am sure that is okay also.

Recent talk says the case numbers are not being stamped on the back of the cheques lately as they are being cashed in Texas. Using a money order is fine and you will receive the NOA1 in short order anyway.

Met: December 2009

Married: April 2015

Received CR-1 visa: February 2017

POE (as IR-1): April 2017

Oath ceremony: November 2020
