can any one share how the NOA2 mail copy should look like? or should be we be getting one at all?

we had the notification online (2 weeks ago) saying we were approved and the email saying our case has been sent to NVC. we had a letter the mail today from the NVC saying our case is forwarded to the embassy.

It says I-197, Notice of Action on top. You'll see the receipt number on the top box, the case type right box, the receipt date on a box below that, priority date at the right of the receipt date (mine was empty, I guess this is for people who requested to get it faster), then right to that, the petitioner name. Next line of boxes if Notice Date, page, and beneficiary name and a number at that box (I assume it your partner's alien registration number).

Under that line of boxes, the next says your name/address, then the last box says the notice type ("Approval Notice valid from this date to that date".

And then there's a few paragrahs stating that you got approved, and explains the visa, that you must get married in 90 days (no extension, etc. It also reminds you to take a copy of the paper a well (actually, a few, considering you need it for the interview and AOS).

Hope that helps.

"how come CSC is not as fast as VSC?

just curious."

If you look at historical trends, the CSC is typically faster than Vermont. VSC has just suddenly had a surge of fast approvals, but there are still many of us who filed at VCS still waiting.
