One thing to notice as well, there are fewer K1 petitions that have been sent recently, or at least fewer people creating timelines. In March, VJ had timelines for 116 filers, in April there were 93, May there were 61, and only 42 in June. Each month over the last year has had numbers closer to 100, so 42 is very low. If those numbers reflect the numbers that were sent to Vermont in the same time period, then there are fewer to get through.

I sent mine in late May and my NOA1 was dated June 1, so I'm really hoping that I hear something soon!

I just saw mine was touched yesterday! Does that mean I'll be hearing today or tomorrow? If I call them up will they be able to tell me the status?

I called today to check my status and was basically told its being worked on, and they cannot contact anyone unless it is outside of ther processing gguidelines (5 months). I asked why some get approved faster than others, and was told that it depends on the agent working on your file, some have mmore cases than others and some work faster) Im hoping I hear something soon.

Good luck!!

What info do you need to call them? What's the number? I was touched some time ago but nothing since... wanna figure out what's going on.

We were also very happily surprised by VSC processing from NOA1 to NOA2 (essentially exactly 1 month). I like to think it helps that we've know each other nearly 3 years and have been dating for 2+ and that I put a strong filing package together, but I really think mostly we were just lucky.

Best of luck for speedy approval to all who are still waiting!

That's basically all they CAN really tell you. I actually reached someone beyond the initial methodical answer forum on the Misinformation Line last night. If you specifically ASK to be transferred to the escalated tier they can do it. It's just a matter of if they WILL do it. The people on the first rung of the ladder there are reading a script, it's all they can do. The woman I spoke to after I was transferred gave me completely opposite information than the first girl did. She told me flat out that the people who answer the main line don't have a clue how the system works or how things are processed, and that she and the ones who do also call them the Misinformation Line as well.

I wish I could give you a better answer, but until it's either adjudicated or you get an RFE, there's really nothing you can do but wait. I'm sorry, and I hope you have more luck soon.
