I've seen 2 NOA2 approvals today from people with an NOA1 date the same day as mine or the day before - and that was just June 8th!! There was a slew of approvals last week in the Under-30-Days category too. Looks like VSC is really churning them out right now! Hope the luck holds out.

Congratulations to everyone who's been approved at the USCIS level lately, and good luck with the NVC/Embassy!!

Yes, I noticed that too with mine a few weeks before yours. Also, it went quickly from NVC to consulate in Santo Domingo, and now we can all hope it goes quickly at consulate to an interview date.

Problem is now we are in the hands of bad mail delivery system in the Dominican Republic, and we are now trying to track down or find out how to get another copy of the Packet 3, which Visa Specialist at State Dept. in Washington says was sent on June 14. But can't figure out how to contact someone directly at consulate to get this packet 3 or find the one lost in the mail.

Congrats and good luck to everyone for a speedy and successful processing.

You can probably download all of the same forms and get the medical exam information from the embassy's website and submit the checklist/required forms (if your embassy asks you to mail them in, most don't) so you don't have to worry about losing more time if you're concerned.

This is true, but he/she will still need the interview letter to get into the consulate on interview day, and possibly to have the medical exam done (some countries require the docs to see the interview letter at the appointment).. Check the consulate's info page (see "Embassy Info" on the light blue bar above) to find out the best way to contact them.

I got mine approved in just 22 days, they got my papers on June 2nd, and on June 24 they were approved!

June 28th NVC said they got out papers, and gave us a number.

Things seem to be going really fast! Not sure if we are just very lucky, or why exactly it went so fast, but we are very pleased!

I hope more people are as lucky. :)

Sweet Dove:

Give it some time, it can take weeks and even months for some people. A good idea is to call the USCIS, where you papers are between the NOA1 and NOA2, and ask about your case, that way you can get ahead if you need to send in additional papers etc. before they have to mail you the paperwork.

I believe we filed our case in Texas, as it was my fiance who filed, I am not 100% sure where he sent it.

It was however processed, and the decision made, in Vermont.

I wish ours will be fast too..we submitted it in CSC but they transferred it to VCS...Maybe that's what happened with your package too.

Congratulations!
