Anybody knows how many questions are there for the written exam or permit to practice in illinois?? Im planning to get a test for permit to drive on July.. any tips u can help me pls...I was reading the manual from chapter I to XIII.. thanks in advance guys..

From what I have heard (from a guy that gave driving tests in the past) you have to pass the written exam in order to get a permit (allows driving with a licensed adult). The permit allows for taking the driving test within a year to get a license.

There's around 50 questions out of which 15 are the identify the sign questions. One read of the manual should get you 100% passing. Focus on the practice question in the manual and read it in its entirety - especially the section on new laws - cell phone use and about trucks.
