Hello folks,How are you doing ? After confirming with many people here on the VJ i sent my I-130,I485 and I-765 today. The only thing which is making me nervous is that my husband makes 16k a year and gets $541 every month from the VA as VA disability compensation. When combined together the total income becomes around 22k which is more than poverty limit ($18,212) for a household of two( assuming VA disability compensation counts as an income).

What would happen if they wouldn't consider VA disability compensation as income ? Would they return the entire application back to my address or i would be issued an RFE ? I am really nervous about this as i asked many people about this and they confirmed that VA disability compensation counts as an income for the purpose of I-864 and the irony is that i have a co-sponsor who is willing to sponsor but since people were very sure about this VA thing so i went without a co-sponsor.Please Help. Thanks in advance ......... .

Thanks for the reply .Why they'd issue me an RFE ? Because VA disability compensation doesn't count as income ? Any folks with the real experience ? This is freaking me out......

I think you're just going to have to wait. They can be for a variety of things - maybe you didn't fill in the paperwork correctly, etc. We got an RFE for five separate things, including things we've already sent. So, just hang tight until it comes.
