Zam, you can call the NVC at the following number (603)334-0700. They will issue it a case number and do some security checks on your petition and once it has passed (they will say 2-4 weeks) sometimes it is shorter and sometimes longer depending if your names "hit" in thier screening. If everything goes smoothly it will be off to the embassy and they will send you So the packages they will need for thier interview. If i missed anything here someone will be along to correct me or add to it. By the way when you call NVC you will need to opt to speak to a live operator, (option 5) as that is how you get info on your K-3. Good luck and best wishes for a speedy journey!!

Thank you Sherry for your help. I opened another thread for this question but might as well ask you or others here... on DS 156 question 32 and 33 ask for your intend to work and study in U.S. Now K3 is a spouce visa which will turn into permanent resident and you have a chioce after you get ur EAD to work. what should be the answer for this question? You do not want to lie ...
