Post-Decision Activity

On June 25, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I can't believe it only took 28 days!! I hope this is a good sign for things to come for everyone else. Now I need to know what to do next? Am I supposed to contact the NVC and get another acct# from them? What else do i need to start doing?? Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the help this forum has brought to me and my family. It's saved me a lot of time and money. I'll definetly refer the visajourney forum to anyone that will mention the word "visa" to me again.

Adam

Thanks ryna... I just checked over my packet many times. Made sure there were no errors or was not missing anything. Gave them all the valid proof I could to show i was in Pakistan during the last two years, and threw in some evidence of an ongoing "bona-fide" relationship. I also sent my senator, Jim Inhofe, an email two weeks ago, but i highly doubt he got around to helping me out yet. I honestly don't know for sure, but ive seen some cases getting approved pretty fast lately.
