I wonder how many of the ones actually causing the problems were Canadian? Maybe they all were, but it would be interesting to know how much of the crowd was not from Canada.

I saw a series of photos of rioters, and quite a few American flags among them. *headdesk* Figures.

I have asked at least 20 people, if not more about the riots this weekend. None of them heard about it...most didn't even know about the G20 happening.

Don't worry Canada, you're secret is safe. ;)

lol -- this sounds about right. The only people I've met here who are aware of the G20 are Canadians. Everyone else has been like, "What is the G20?"

Every year it happens, every year there's some protests. G20 was in Pittsburgh last year and it didn't even really make it into conversation, yet they had about the same types of protestors and police in riot gear. You can google all G20 protests, no matter where they are - these things have unfortunately happened.
