And was A P P R O V E D :dance: :dance: :dance: It was so easy. He just asked be some stuff about how we met and where we are going to live and that was that. He didn't want to see NOTHING of my evidence. Not even pictures. (And I prepared such a nice little booklet.) :bonk:

They kept my passport though and I will have to go to town yet again to pick it up. Probably at the end of the week.

However, the next thing to be afraid of is not far away: dentist appointment on wednesday. :help:

msd- Nice! Just in time to scare the wittle kids, eh? :P I'm sure if you can pass the CR1 interview, you can pass the dentist's tests. It's not like he or she is deciding whether you and your husband have to live in Austria or the U.S. for the rest of your lives.

All I can say is the interview is FINALLY over and we got AP. It was a long hard day with lots of complications. I will explain more later. But just know we got AP.

We were approved August 11th, paid the Dominex people to send documents via courier, they told us we would receive the Visa within 2wks, to date we have not received it. They told us that the delivery guy was sick? Has anyone heard of such or similar experience?

Just in case... you can pick up you visa... at domex office..

Interesting, I tried posting and it seems to have failed, so let me try again.

My wife's interview was on Monday (Sunday night for me) and she was in and out really quickly. They asked her about her kids (and their plans, they're both in college) and my kids and a few other questions but nothing that didn't seem like general conversation.

She passed her interview on Monday and now has her visa in hand as of yesterday. She'll be arriving here in Seattle on Tuesday, the day after Labor day... :)

Thanks Teya - it is really close now, although I'm stressing that my car isn't sold yet... but you get that.

I'm still not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not, but needless to say, if I change my mind I can always come back (to my Australian "family" of super awesome friends) :D
