Hello I filed my K1 I129F Petition on April 16, I recieved my NOA1 april 20, 2010. I see that the processing timelines here at VJ are stating that the Vermont service center is processing between 75 and 80 days now. and they are currently processing for petition dates for april 12. Are the statistics fairly accurate for the Vermont service center? How is the data collected? is it accurate as to the Service center is really processing speed and petition dates? I have been missing my filipino Fiancee since april. I am missing her so much. This is very hard for me! Could somebody please give me some helpful encouraging advice, as to possibly how close I am to recieving my NOA2 from Vermont. It been a little over 2 months, havent heard anything. If anyone could give me advice or information if there is anything I can do or that would help me during this hard time of the unknown waiting period. My fiancee and I love each other so much and want to be together and marry soon. Thank you very much! Randall

From your timeline, I would say that it looks like you are fine. You and I filed in the same month and the timeline data seems to be accurate. You might be able to get a more accurate idea by looking at other timelines for the same country your finacee is in. One interesting phenomenon I observed was that as people entered their NOA2 received dates, my predicted NOA2 receive timeline started to move up in dates (was quite surprising and exciting).

I haven't seen my finacee since March and definitely the separation isn't an easy thing to bear, but take heart, you'll get the NOA2 shortly and be whisked off to the land of filling out more forms and doing more paperwork as you both prepare for the interview at the Embassy! :P

Narrowing the timeline search parameters is an excellent idea. Processing for some countries takes longer than for others. Over the winter, VSC processing times lengthened considerably. (There is a rumor that all of the Snow Bunnies from VSC were hanging with Gary and Alla...). When my doucments were submitted, the NOA1 - NOA2 interval was about 77 days. This slipped to about 101 days. By narrowing the search to Russia and VSC, the number dropped to 91 dAys. The actual interval was about 88 days. (I think processing speed improved after the free beer was cut off.)

So, definitely refine your timeline search, as this will get you closer to an accurate number.

Good luck!

no reason not to go visit her when you are able. in fact, because this is a quickie engagement, it will help her at the interview to demonstrate that you have been back to see her. yes, it's expensive, but your relationship did not include a period of courtship.

Hey guys,

Applied and received NAO1 April 15th and I'm still waiting for the NAO2. What's frustrating is that others from the same country, the UK, filed in May and they've already gotten their NAO2s. Should I be calling and inquiring? This process is so depressing! I miss my baby so much but I am going to see her on July 17th for two weeks!

Hello Godsgift, I have a question for you. my fiancee and I have only knoww each other since December. I went to see her in March and April for 2 weeks. we have constantly spent time just about everyday communicating on Yahoo messenger, web cams, phone conversations, and emails. We are still doing the same and its now almost July. Do you think we are going to have a problem convincing Manila Embassy that we have a serious relationship and we are for real? We have photos, I gave her and engagement ring. Hotel reciepts, places we ate together, copies of our chats, emails, phone calls. will this be enough to convince them our relationship is real? I hope so can you advise if you think we will have a problem? Thank you very much Godsgift!

Hello Old dominion. I was only able to go over there in March and April for 2 weeks. I wont be able to go there again for sometime due to my work obligations and very expensive. I am hoping that we have included enough evidence that our love is real. We are engaged, I have proof of the ring I bought her, restaurant and hotel receipts. pictures of us and some of her family together. chats, emails, phone call records. I do hope that will be convincing enough for the people interviewing her in Manila. If I had to go over there to convince them, to let her come here, I would do it.. but it would be very hard to get clearance from work. But they would have to understand. I love my fiancee so very much. I appreciate all your comments and helpful suggestions. to help us. Thanks alot. I hope my petition will be approved with no RFE's soon. I filled it out by myself, and had a divorce lawyer friend look over my paperwork with me. I feel everything is correct on the paperwork. I hope Vermont and everybody else will accept it also. Thanks again Old Dominion.......Randall

Hello Honbako, thanks for your reply and comments. I sure hope everything will be acceptable with my petition and soon. I miss my finacee so very much. I have already filled out my I134 that will need to be sent soon after the NOA2 is accetpted. I am usure if I will have to send tax statements or not and to whom. Do you know? and who will request them? I appreciate your wonderful helpful comments and any advice you can give me to ease my mind. We so want to be with each other again soon! Thanks, Randall
