The co-sponsor can only sponsor the number of immigrants that he/she meets the 125% level for. In the case of your joint sponsor they can have up to three immigrants. That is themselves plus their one dependent plus three immigrants equals a household size of five, poverty guideline is $32,238. This would leave you with four immigrants to sponsor so with yourself and four immigrants you require an income of $32,238 for you to sponsor the remainder of the family if you have no dependents.

If this cosponsor is going to sponsor all the immigrants it would be:

Cosponsor + dependant + 7 immigrants - for a total of 9 people.

The guideline for 9 is $ 50,937.00

So for him to sponsor all of them he would need another 14,937 in income.

If you are trying to split them up between you and your cosponsor, then no, you can't just add 15 thousand of your own income, I remember from your other post your current income is 15 thousand. It is as Belinda says above.

You would still have four immigrants to sponsor. With the other co-sponsor plus his/her 2 dependents plus the 4 immigrants remaining (total of 7)this would require an income of $41,588. You can have up to 2 co-sponsors. You would still need to file the I-864 yourself for all seven of the immigrants in addition to the co-sponsors I-864s.

So basically sajaan it goes like this:

Your cosponsor includes 3 of the immigrants. He is a group of 2, plus 3 immigrants - he needs $ 32,327 in income, so that is fine.

That leaves 4 immigrants with no sponsor. You need another sponsor (you can have 2 cosponsors) he needs to make enough for his family plus the 4 immigrants.
