I just called USCIS and inquired about Texas Service Center. I acted like I didn't know what was going on and had recently sent my I-129F to TSC, then couldn't find where they were processing them when I checked online. The girl went through her memos to research and came back to tell me that TSC hasn't told them (wherever she is) what it's doing with the applications. She spent some more time, looked at some other system and said Nebraska was the only one showing anything being transferred, and that was I-130s to CSC.

Basically, she said they are reporting to TSC that people are calling and asking about the I-129Fs, but TSC wasn't saying what it was doing with them ... whether it was transferring or holding there to process. She said she thinks they will update their website soon and told me try back later. She was very friendly.

05/02/2006 - NOA2 from CSC (via email notification)

07/22/2006 - Packet 3 received

08/12/2006 - Packet 3 sent

10/03/2006 - Packet 4 received

10/26/2006 - Interview at Embassy, 221g (blue slip): advised how to file for citizenship of child (??)

11/29/2006 - Pink slip received after attorney met with immigration chief

November 16, 2006~ RFE reply received ...didn't even know we had an RFE (INS stated that the RFE was

probably sent to the DR. that did our biometrics)

January 17, 2007 ~ CSC is now processing cases received September 25 (11 days after ours was received) :(

OK I couldn't get through to a real person. The government is irritating. I don't know that I will ever be able to get through to a real person if I actually need to for my case.

All this is so new to me that I'm confused when I read your posts....... so, for those who just sent in their I-129F packages to TSC... what exactly does that mean? I confirmed receipt by TSC on February 15th.... what does that mean???? I hope it's not bad!!!! Can someone please enlighten me???? Thanks!

Indeed it is all confusing; no one know the answers yet. I would assume since your package was received at Texas on the 15th; it would stay in Texas and not be transferred to California. Most of the packages for some time were being transferred from Texas to Cali; but it now seems that Texas is now reviewing the I-129F K1 visas now. What does this mean-if you package is reviewed in Texas-it could be approved sooner than if it was sent to Cali. But, this is the government-they could decide to do a massive slow down and not process any packages for awhile. Just watch for your check to be cashed; when that happens, look on the back of the check for a case number; use that case number to check the progress of your package.

Texas received my package Monday-check has still not been processed by my bank.

Looks like according to your timeline; your package was mailed to California. I would assume anything sent to Cali would stay in Cali.

When you get your NOA1 let us know if it says TSC or CSC on it. That way we'll know what's going on.

Nothing against you, but this always happens to me! I wait in line at the supermarket, a new register opens, I'm still stuck in the same old line, and people who weren't even waiting are at the front of the new line :( . I filed with Texas in December, it was sent to CSC, and they probably won't look at my application for another month. I should have procrastinated until mid February. It's not easy being me.

i am really sorry, i know how it is, dont feel bad, it happens to me allways as well... waiting in a long line, wherever, and the other one is allways faster then mine.. i might change to the faster one, and, now this is the slowest.. :(

even i am still afraid, that even our petition has been sent to CA, coz it arrived 2 DAYS! before the 15. february... everything is possible. on the other side, of course, i hope, that they are processed soon..

but, up to know, after more then a week they received the petition, the check has not been banked yet! i dont know if this is good or bad. as soon i know more, i let u know.i guess by tomorrow, even the USCIS will update their case status.
