After more than 3 WEEKS here with no rain, temps for a week and a half in the 100+ range and everything drying up everywhere and dusty, I am absolutely thrilled to share the fact that at this very moment it is POURING rain with lightning and thunder and the whole bit out there!!! WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

I swear I can hear my veggies and flowers going "SLUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP"!!! :D

Oh the COWS will be thrilled too! They'll get blessedly drenched and cool and their ponds will be full to the top again!

I would go out there and dance in the rain but the lightning is kinda scary hahaha

Sorry, I just HAD to share!

I can definitely relate! Here in Dallas we had about 20 days with temps 100+ and no real rain for at least 30-40 days.. but Monday and Tuesday it rained and poured for a little while..ooh it was so nice..my husband took a video clip on his cel and sent it to me at work (where it didnt rain) so I could see. I actually have patches of green popping through now. Only drawback is the dog comes in with muddy paws for a few days......

Yeah aren't those Mini's cuuuute? I could never eat one of those, man...lol.

I've seen one or two of those around here and I think the people keep them more as pets than anything else....lol.

Wouldn't really be worth making them beef cattle anyway, ya know?
