- I-130 Sent, February 22, 2010

- NOA2 June 23, 2010

National Visa Center

- Called July 6, 2010 Got case number and gave email address (Operator said case arrived July 2)

- Received two emails with DS3032 and AOS bill payment July 8, 2010

- Email DS3032 July 8, 2010 (Did not receive auto response)

- Sent payment online AOS bill July 9, 2010

- Sent payment online IV fee bill July 14, 2010

- Received IV instruction packet July 16, 2010

- AOS and IV packet delivered at NVC, July 30, 2010

- Case Closed August 25, 2010

- Interview October 12, 2010 APPROVED!!!

My son´s Journey

- I-130 Sent, February 22, 2010

- NOA2 July 7, 2010

National Visa Center

- Received email stating my son´s case must be processed electronically, AOS fee bill included in email, July 22, 2010

- Sent email to NVCElectronic to OPT-IN For Electronic Processing, July 23, 2010

- Received email from NVCElectronic OPT-IN accepted July 26, 2010

- Received email letter DS 3032 was accepted, letter included lV fee bill invoice, July 28, 2010

- IV Status: Paid July 29, 2010

- AOS and IV packet sent via email (forms and documents scanned) August 3, 2010

- Received email from NVCElectronic to let me know my son´s case was closed August 26, 2010

- Interview October 8, 2010 APPROVED!!!

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-Checked payment portal for fun (SIF!!!!): 12/3/10

-AVR still say AOS missing info: 12/3/10

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)

Spoke to the congressman's aid.

Still no response from the embassy, but NVC says there are 166 cases waiting to be scheduled there. OMG! I am so depressed!

Wish I knew where we are on the list. I saw one vjer case complete in April and interview last week. I would think this would mean they are ready to schedule the May CCs but who knows!

This is really bringing me down.

OMG 4 months! Can I ask where you got this info? There was a CC in April who just interviewed on Thursday (June 24). Even my congressman's office didn't tell me it was that bad!

I will be on the phone with them again tomorrow! :bonk:

I tried to pay my brother in law's AOS and DS-230 fee's online. But it shows error.....payment system is not available, try again later.

Are you guys getting the same error? if so, since when ?

07-19-2021 - received message from NVC about case can not be processed unless all civil documents are submitted (was missing police clearance)

08-12-2021 - submitted police clearance certificate - which was last document submitted to NVC

11-05-2021 - Case completed at NVC - DQ

03-31-2022 - Interview letter received

04-28-2022 - Interview date at mumbai embassy

The info NVC gave my congressman's aid sounds so bad, too. I have no idea how many they interview in a month but with 166 cases waiting.... will it even happen THIS YEAR???

kruz- I would assume that you have all of the correct info for his case. I didn't have any troubles. Have you logged on there before?

I have all correct info, after logging in, I can see both beneficiary and petitioner names for indivudial fee bills. (AOS and DS-230)

But when I enter bank info and click on payment, it shows me in RED color that an error has occured, since the payment portal is unavilable at this time, we can't process your payment at this time, try again later.

I called NVC and they confirmed that dept. of state website is not something which is in their hand, but they have blocked the payment portal and they are receiveing many calls for this since this morning.

I can't seem to find an answer to something else that is on my mind. I have read the posts here and the embassy info.

I know that the K visa fees increased, but I can't find anything about the fees for a CR1 interview. What is the fee or is there one?

We paid all our fees, Ally. K1 pays at the consulate, we pay beforehand. I think the only that should be left is the fee for the courier service that delivers the visa. Our next fee will be RoC.

Thanks so much. I had looked everywhere for this! I know we have to pay for the medical exam too... when we FINALLY get a date!

I really need to proof read before I hit the submit button. While reading your reply, I noticed I typed the only that, instead of the only thingthat should be left. I didn't include medical because it's not paid at the consulate. And hang in there Ally! You'll get your interview date!
