hello friends...

Okay so they received my AOS papers last week wednesday, and signed by national Visa center. today when i called.. operator told me they dont have it....he was not able to see that they did receive em??? WTH.... my package got lost in NVC mail room? maybe.what should i do?

No need to panic. It usually takes them a while to move stuff from the mailroom and input it into the AVR.

Check back on Friday evening again.

Toyolovers already have the PCC in my hand. :thumbs::dance: . Married 2009 I think I have a few more days before I can call and get my # and be put into the AVR. I got NOA2 8 days ago... I was thinking Monday at best...

We finally received DS-3032 & AOS bill last night! Thanks god!

Congrats!!! Is that the normal amount of time it's taking for this? Looks like I will have to wait a little longer than I hoped for. As I was approved on 7/14 when do you think I should be calling for my NVC Number? I was thinking Monday 7/26.

You can start calling now. It is true NVC seems to be slowing down now but just call and go through the AVR option. I have only spoken to an operator at NVC twice. The first time to give them our emails and the second to inquire about the pay portal. It is best to keep your contact with the operators to a minimum because most of their responses to your questions are standard and you will only be disappointing yourself by listening to them. They are unfortunately Drones--not their fault.

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

03-15-2010 : AOS signed for by St. Laurent at 10:03 a.m.

07-19-2010 : Received IV documents from hubby (Finally)

07-20-2010 : Mailed IV packet

07-21-2010 : IV Packet signed for by Peters at 10:15 a.m. (St. Laurent and Desmond are probably on vacation lol)

07-26-2010 : NVC starts processing IV Packet

08-20-2010 : Called NVC and was told that we received a "stupid" RFE on 08-18-2010

09-03-2010 : RFE sent to the NVC today....SIF please come quickly.

09-07-2010 : RFE signed for by Desmond at 10:16 a.m.

09-10-2010 : NVC acknowledges receipt of the RFE

09-30-2010 : SIF

10-01-2010 : Case complete as per NVC AVR

10-05-2010 : Interview date assigned for November 29, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. Approved

TomD, it won't hurt to call once a day.... I'd call around 11pm and ask for the operator if the AVR doesn't give me any update. Sometimes the AVR/Payment Portal updates after 5pm or so... If I hadn't been persistent on my AOS issue, I would still be waiting for them to send me the AOS stuff. I spoke with at least 2-3 operators who didn't do sh--. Pls Excuse my language guys. Then last monday I spoke to another and she cared enough to teach me that I could send my AOS forms with the DS230 coversheet since there was probably a glitch in the system thats why my AOS wasn't showing as Paid. She was so nice that she even explained to me what else was going on with my file.

e.g. my request for expedite was sent to Manila and awaiting a response but it's already there

guys, do we have a database like "igors list" where we can track VJ members who are getting SIF or CC's? I know it all varies but if it can be based on the date when the IV was entered into the system we could trend the timelines...

Triaxxx, you can find some of what you're looking for in the immigration timelines. just look at the ir1 cr1 stats here and play with the numbers a bit.
