Hi guyz..galz.. finally NVC case number for us last nyt! wow, it did take a while..

the operator refused to update email-id saying the case has just been entered into the system..to try again tomorrow.

As soon as they update the emails, guess i will send the DS3032 email. By the way, while snail-mailing DS 3032, you have to mention the case number on the place where u r supposed to be pasting the bar-code?? Hows that psbl bcs theres no blank space there..but it has instructions to paste the bar-code there.. Never knew one wud get such silly sounding doubts!! heck.. :)

And Hellos Teya.. good morning :)

i did not put a barcode but instead wrote on the right upper corner in bold letters our case number. This is the same advice I got on this question when I posted a while back. Pushbrk mentioned no need for barcode. Our 3032 got accepted last night. Hope this helps.

thx Triax for reply.. one question more.. any idea that if we update NVC with our email ids do they still mail out the DS3032 to the foreign beneficiary via snail-mail?

I want the snail-mail from NVC to obtain the local police station PCC..because until we show them something, they wont consider our application for the PCC..

So should I wait until they send the post..? and as soon as I find that they have...i will update email-id and send the DS3032 as email?

Woo hoo triaxxx!!!! You got the approval!!! Now you can go pay the other fee and be one step closer to ending you lovely stay at NVC!

JinyandJony- Could you just print out the e-mail from NVC (the DS3032/AOS bill) that they should e-mail you once they have updated your e-mails into their system? They could take forever to mail it to India. I would update the e-mails as soon as you can and e-mail the DS3032 so that they can process it and "let" you pay the IV bill. :).

some people got their CC/SIF in this month already.Count me on them as well!lol. My case has been completed on 8th July,Yes both the petitioner and benificiary will get an email regarding missing doc or RFE,for my case I got time RFE for DS-230 which was false.Me and my husband also got e-mail for DS-230. when we called NVC they said disregard this email!hang in there NVC is kind of slow this summer. For me, it took over a month to get CC after sending my DS-230 doc :) best of luck for your visa journey

OK thank you and congrats!! You should get an interview date soon then I guess.

The NVC recieved our documents on the 6th. Ugh hopfeully it will not really take a month. O_o

I think im going to change my nick to 'depressed wife2' :crying:

We got an RFE for photos, they were received and entered into the system on June 29th... and still no CC. I'm still hoping to get it this week, but if you say NVC is slow then idk...

I'm sorry to hear that. :(

Did the photos not fir the criteria or did you forget to send them?

I'm starting to worry because we "only" sent two. Well that's the number they want but you never know with NVC. Argh...

Alles wird gut und wenn es noch nicht gut ist, ist es noch nicht vorbei.

NVC is really slowing down as well....I would tend to think they should be faster since USCIS held up all USCIS CR1 March filers from what we experienced. (I do know they have well beyond March Cr1 applicants to deal with on the other hand)

1. Went to check my AOS fee which was paid 7/08 - still showing in process as of this post. But, the IV fee which was previously on "ghost" can now be clicked and allowing me to put payment details (I just didn't go through since I haven't received an IV invoice yet)

2. So, I called NVC since its past 3 business days for the AOS payment. No explanation.

3. Then I ask if i could pay the IV bill since on the fee portal, I could already click on it and put payment details. She said no. Apart from not having the IV invoice, she told me that my 3032 has not been approved yet. What?! I got an email last night! apparently, its only received, not approved. So, it took 5business days just to say my 3032 email was received. Geez..

4. NOw I just have to sit back and exhale.. chill. Comparing it to recent NVC filers though, as recent as Teya, timelines are truly getting slower.

5. I am soo ready to file my 864 and 230... I even filed for an expedite request last night.

6. Sorry for this rant. VJ friends are my only outlet. (aside from my spouse)

7. NOw, gotta change my signature back to 3032 received only....

MSD,sorry to hear about your RFE. Pls let us know though what the issue was with the photos, if it's okay? I will only be submittng 2 as well, since that's what is stated on the NVC website. On the contrary, I did see some VJ threads where they mentioned sending 4 copies... don't know if it was overkill or just covering all bases...
