Called today to NVC and the AVR says my case has not arrived. Got NOA2 June 23, 2010. Good luck.

- Called July 6, 2010 Got case number and gave email address (Operator said case arrived July 2)

- Received two emails with DS3032 and AOS bill payment July 8, 2010

- Email DS3032 July 8, 2010 (Did not receive auto response)

- Sent payment online AOS bill July 9, 2010

- Sent payment online IV fee bill July 14, 2010

- Received IV instruction packet July 16, 2010

- AOS and IV packet delivered at NVC, July 30, 2010

Thanks so much!

I am working on more paperwork now before I leave for work. I think we will be over-prepared, but after that K1 experience last year... we aren't taking any chances!

Of course that CO last year didn't even look at anything he took in, just decided I was too old for him.

But I have stacks of pics and all our chat logs from almost 2 years, phone bills, ticket stubs, trip receipts, etc. And I will make them look at all of it if I have to!

I don't know what I would have done without these NVC threads. Everyone has been so helpful and supportive.

And please keep praying we get through this interview ok. I am nervous, but I feel better about it this time. :thumbs:

Phew..finally in this thread...! NOA2 on Jun30th!

My wife will call the NVC number from July 7th.. and ask for case number. and if she gets one, she will give our email addresses to them.. and same day we will try emailing our DS3032.. I hope am right abt these steps. any other opinions?

now just wonder how to ensure we get to speak to the operator though.

hey Jiny and Jony.. just follow the prompts and NVC case number u can get from auto responce system. operators wont be able to help you with out it.

Mine and totosan's cases were approved on june 23rd and no case number assigned as of today. its been 9 days after approval.

seems like NVC is loaded OR it decided to act like USCIS. one of those. I have a feeling its gonne take good 2 to 3 weeks to get NVC case number .

almost every applicant i saw, his/her case was assigned in 5 to 8 days at NVC. looks like that trend is slowing down. NVC will be closed on monday so starting tuesday i will try calling again to see if there is any luck.

Called today to NVC and the AVR says my case has not arrived. Got NOA2 June 23, 2010. Good luck.

totosan.... we just gonne get jacked, looks like. damn. no case number for me as well. :(

Now just wonder what data the NVC guys need to identify as.. does it prompt you to dial something? even with the AVR, how do they give the case number?

And I suppose no way other than speaking to operator to update the email addresses..?

JinyAndJony- It will prompt you to press different things and eventually get to "If your case number begins with XXX press 1.." you will press 4 for that one. Then it will have you enter your USCIS case number then it will repeat it "If this is correct, press 1." Then it will either tell you that they don't have any information or they will tell you " The case # for this (some where along those lines) is XXX2010#####" and give you a date that it was updated in the system, then it will give you "To speak to an operator press... (I don't remember this one, sorry)." Unlike USCIS, the NVC operators don't ask you 700 questions and read you everything you already know before they ask you why you are calling (in your own words). The NVC already has your e-mail and physical address from the I-130 but just in case you prefer receiving e-mails instead of snail mails, I would give them your e-mail addresses. It won't take very long and then you should be done having to talk to them for a while.

The 4 that I mentioned above is for the WAC case numbers (CSC).

you need to speak to an operator to enter your e-mail addresses to the system,there is no other way to enter your email addresses other than talking to them.Or if you wish to know about the updates of your case you can always check 24 hours a day and 7 days a week just by dialing 603-334-0700
