How "old" can documents be when brought to K-1 interview in Bogota?

My fiancee in Barranquilla is gathering the documents she needs for the interview using the downloaded Packet 3 instructions (packet from embassy won't arrive for maybe 2 weeks). She obtained some of these documents in May 2009 (not for K-1). I understand the logic in requiring a new, up-to-date Certificado Judicial / DAS Certificate (same thing ?), and a passport with 6 months validity remaining from date of interview. However, will a notarized copy of Birth Certificate that was notarized in May 2009 or a copy of Folio from May 2009 for the Birth certificate be accepted in Bogota? Or would it be best to just play it safe and get a new official copy of the Birth certificate again?

Thank you

My wife's BC was 35 years old when she brought it to the consulate.... She will continue to use this document going forward unless I suppose she decides to be "born again"

YMMV

Hopefully we get an interviewer with a sense of logic and humor. I've read of instances of parallel circumstances where they had neither, hence the question.

birth certificate should be ok. Police clearance certificate should not be more than 1 year old by interview day.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

The medical is often only good for 6 months as well
