We just had our i129 approved and my Fiancee got a letter from the NVC about the case being forwarded to the consulate in Frankfurt, Germany and i am waiting for them to send me that "packet 3".

My question: The information that I have to compile for the interview, especially the affidavit of support, do I have to send that in to the consulate in advance, or is it something that I bring with me on the day of the interview?

Please read the instructions for the Packet 3 carefully because it will tell you exactly what you'll need to send in and what to bring to the interview.

A couple of things have definitely changed since I had my interview but you do not send in the affidavit or any evidence before the interview!

This is what they should require. The checklist you will receive tells you exactly what to send in and what to bring to the interview.

Here's the general instructions on what you will need and when.

And these (make sure to follow instructions for K-1 on the bottom of the page)

Good luck
