We filed for Removal of Conditions in February and are one of the few still waiting with no approval, denial, RFE, or appointment notice. What I do notice when I sign in to our account at USCIS is that some of our other past filings have been "updated" or as some call "touched." For instance, our I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS shows it was updated on 06/19/2010 and our I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION updated on 05/01/2010. Funny that our CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED hasn't been updated in the system since 04/01/2010. Have some of you noticed the same thing? Any idea why their system would show actions such as this, yet no update on the actual Removal of Conditions request?

I think they keep all files related to our cases in one folder and whenever they move the folders they scan them into the system. Your file is probably being looked over by an adjudicator at the moment.

We got the same thing - our Employment Authorization and Application for travel document was touched on 4/25 while the actual CRI89 was last touched on 4/16 after the fingerprints. I guess this is normal...

Yes - many members have reported similar behavior and that didn't really mean anything.

The one good indication is that they might be looking at your files since you got a touch, and it is possible that you will hear form them soon.

keep your fingers crossed!!!

Our CR189 was touched yesterday, finally, after not being touched since the day after biometrics.

Hi The Sparrow! It's been a while. Not sure if this is a coincidence, but our EAD and AOS were touched on the same days yours was as well, but we filed the I-751 much later then you did.

You can see the dates our was touched in my signature below.

hey bszoom42! Looks like we're waiting on Vermont again but at least it's not for the I-129F, that was like pulling teeth with each additional day.

I wonder if they were doing some sort of unrelated internal processing on our cases that day...you know...dusting off the filing cabinets

Divorced. To hell with him.
